Carp Fishing at Redmire Pool - podcast series

Back in 2014, Stuart 'SK' Harris, Martin 'Northmoor' Herrington, Jon 'Guido' Berry and I were fishing at Redmire Pool, celebrating its 80th Anniversary for a feature in Angling Times. We found the fishing tough, although the carp were visible and we did catch. To balance the pressure of catching for the camera, we made regular retreats to base camp to sit, ponder, and observe.

It was during these times that I recorded an audio commentary that would later be used to help me write the feature for the newspaper. The recordings are quiet, relaxing, unscripted and unhurried – just like the fishing we experienced. I've make them into a podcast series so that you can listen to them to at your leisure, placing you there with us at Redmire pool during its 80th Anniversary.
