Three New Books

After a winter spent back at my writing desk, three new books are available for you to read: A Waterside Year tells of my year camping and fishing beside a lake, The Quiet Fields is a nature and outdoor lifestyle book that pays homage to 'BB', and A Gardener's Year celebrates a year in the garden while being a metaphor for sowing seeds of the life we wish to lead.

These new books are part of the Fennel's Journal series and are long overdue* publication as hardbacks. They have, however, spurred me on to complete the 'missing' books so that the set of 15 can be displayed proudly on your bookshelf. 'When' is still to be confirmed, now that the fine weather is encouraging me outdoors again, but I'll let you know when they're published.

Happy reading!

*My free time these past few years has been spent leading conseration charity The Wild Carp Trust, editing and publishing its annual journal, writing more than 200 blogs and saving about 2,000 medieval carp. It's been hugely productive, highly rewarding, and great fun.
