Bury Your Head?

The big picture…can be daunting.
Detail…can be overwhelming.
Current affairs…irrelevant and distracting?
The noise of living? Deafening.

They’re pulling you away from what matters.

Do you bury your head?
Ignoring the important and the urgent?
In their eyes at least…
Or are you, in those ‘unproductive’ moments,
Focusing on what matters?
Being creative. Thinking. Reflecting. Considering.

To plant a seed is to let it settle.
Rest upon the soil, doing nothing?
Or push it under to be warm and safe.
Out of sight where it comes to life.

The seed will grow, at its own pace.

Don’t overwater, or overfeed
Or let it dry out, or starve it.

Eventually it will see the light.

Nourish your ideas…and self
Show them the light.
